Her dress, a regal silver laced with baby pink coral and sparkling amethysts flows through the water freely as her long deep violet hair. Her face immaculate, near with an elven grace was the color of smooth stones that rested at the bottom of her shores; she looked out over the city with its feint white bio-luminescent lights and coral structures and smiled. Proud in her domain.

General Physical Condition

Zaronna is a little plump, in her recent years she has spent a lot of time teleporting from city to city for delegations and spending her downtime at home reading religious texts, writing her own reports to the Emperor, or enjoying time with her partners. This has lead to a bit of a lethargic streak and it's beginning to show on her stomach a bit but she is still quite fit and road ready if need be.

Identifying Characteristics

Most notable of Zaronna's features are a pair of tear like black birth marks that trace down from the corner of her eyes to the corners of her mouth.

Special abilities

Zaronna is a highly skilled cleric and as such has access to an impressive roster of spells as well as several boons that manifest in the form of channel divinity, powerful moments of clairvoyance and divination offered by the keeper of secrets.

She often wears long gowns that do not impede her ability to swim swiftly through the water. And, in times when she must act as a priestess of gale she has a set of dark blue raiments that she wears over whatever gown she happens to have on.

Personal history

Zaronna is the direct descendant of the first Arch Duchess of Rosewrynn, Zygllplyx. She took over the position of her authority from her father at the age of twenty-one when he retired to travel abroad, wanting to journey for a while with a dear friend of his; Koga the Pod Lord. 
Since rising to the occasion she has worked dilligently from within her aquatic manor to fill in the spot her father left behind and elevate her position to one of most notable respect. Often Archdukes tend to grow lazy, overseeing the collection of taxes once or twice a year but beyond that doing little to directly impact the land. Zaronna has no such intentions. 
She has been a stalwart emissary of peace, travelling to all three duchies under her control and maintaining the borders and good will between them. She has made herself integral to the running of Rosewrynn and insists that, while some argue she is creating busywork for herself, that this is the key to ensuring that people stay happy. 
She has spent, in particular, a lot of time with Xu Yaoming, the two of them feeling a strong almost religious bond. The two had grown together as friends and now think of each other and the other's strongest confidant.

Zaronna is a lesbian, she has several partners but the elders in the community are beginning to pressure her to take a proper spouse and produce an heir.

Education

Zaronna had many skilled tutors while growing up but the majority of her training and education came from the church. Her uncle on her mother's side, a priest by the name Xynfrygr took her in hand and tutored her, taking her out among her people and teaching her the way of their gods. Eventually she was anointed in the order as a Priestess of Gale.  She has a close connection to the mistress of secrets and is known to be an extremely clever political rival; it is rumored she can use knowledge granted to her by her goddess to see into the minds of those who would lie to her and steal their secrets.

Morality & Philosophy

Zaronna believes that hard work and community are key to understanding and growing as a nation, but that there is always a dark underside to people and things. That actions are rarely purely altruistic and that every person expects something.

Motivation

Zaronna for the most part merely wishes to make her ancestors proud, rule fairly and keep the peace between the leaders of duchies; but at the same time enjoy herself...often. She believes that her work in manipulating and keeping tabs on the other dukes/duchesses within her realm is a direct work of her faith. Learning and acquiring secrets to use and prevent potential catastrophes and acquiring as much knowledge over people who would attempt to use or manipulate her.
