Observatory Occulory

The Observatory Occulory is a machine housed in the tower of Sacrosanct. The machine is used to view the heavens, no matter what angle or time of year any constellation or stellar body can be seen. How this works is the telescopic sights when aimed can see through everything except for the exposed space and stars. That means it can see through the ceiling, the walls, and even though the lands itself in order to gaze onwards. The telescopes can be attuned to distances in order to bypass any blockage. for instance, if a moon is directly in the way in the foreground blocking the view of another stellar body, the telescopes can be fixed to only see the distance beyond that moon. This will result in clear images of whatever you may be wishing to view.   The telescopes and mechanisms are all made with various crystals of unknowns magical nature as well as metal, which can be assumed to be either brass or bronze.

Utility

The devise could be potentially utilized by scholars of astronomy, wizards or just stargazers alike.

Manufacturing

The process to duplicate this technology is currently unknown, and potentially lost to the ages.
Inventor(s)
The origin of the Observatory Occulory are currently unkown.
Access & Availability
The Observatory Occulory is at the top of the tower named Sacrosanct. There is no normal means of entering this room teleportation, phase shifting, or plane shifting are the only ways to enter. Conveniently there is a teleportation portal on the floor below activated by a choice selection of levers.
Complexity
The systems of telescopes and magical crystals operating the mechanisms are very intricate.
Discovery
It isn't known how or when the wizard Yogsonon discovered the Observatory or the tower itself. The company of Trenric who dispatched Yogsonon was not too terribly interested in the device.
