Memory Quill

A memory quill is an enchanted quill that when activated write everything it can hear within a certain range. The quill can be enchanted to use a nearby ink well or be enchanted to be a bottomless reserve, its ink lasting forever. This quill is very useful for the adventurer who may not have the best memory they can utilize this quill in order to take an exact account in regards to any quest given. Scholars may use this quill to record any type of class needing to take accurate notes extremely quickly. Another user who might find this pen useful is any time of secretary or business owner keeping up with the books or drafting a multitude of letters every day. Anything to save a sore hand or a short memory. The quill is limited to how much ink its bottle is attuned to (unless enchanted bottomless reserved).
Although not quite common the quill is quite easily created by alchemists or artificers as you can enchant a standard quill with the spell "message" and attune the quill to a regular bottle of ink. The bottomless reserve enchantment is a much more difficult enchantment and only the most experienced artificers and alchemists can create this enchantment.

Manufacturing process

A normal quill is imbued with the spell "message" then the quill is attuned to a bottle of ink from which the quill draws until empty. After the bottle is empty a new bottle of ink will need to be attuned. The bottomless enchant is a much more difficult feat.
