Lafaya

Along the coast on an island close to the mainland at the western part of Tewez lies a city. A city and a port. A city which once only existed on this island but has since then grown far too big for the tiny island itself. A city once seen as a risky last endeavor, but that now has grown larger than the city they once called home. The city that is known as Lafaya. Lafaya is the largest city of Tewez and the oldest of the new wave of inhabitants of the continent. An important trade center and a post to Tewez in general. A place of refuge for those fleeing different areas in Tannar with most going from Tefaran. Lafaya is split in two, one part being the island and the other the mainland. Between the island and the mainland there is a large bridge, the dwarven master construct known as the Night Bridge. In Lafaya proper (The island) lives about 70 000 people and on the mainland approximately 50 000 more. It is with this 120 000 people the largest city in Tewez and a relatively large city for Tannaric states as well.
