Kingdom of Vroegland
Situated on the New Antaean continent of Borealia, in the central and most welcoming region thereof, Vroegland is home to the planet's original colonists, and still its biggest economy. Vroeglanders, and especially their leadership, see themselves as enlightened stewards of global policy, while everyone else sees them as domineering if not outright imperialistic.
Structure
Although Vroegland is nominally a kingdom, its monarchs are figureheads with a ceremonial and diplomatic role, and elected by Parliament, albeit for life. However, tradition requires that a descendant of the previous monarch be elected unless there are good reasons to do otherwise.
