Shallow Bomb

Shallow Bomb are made of the fungus Rhoncus-summo Augmentum which is an orange rapid growing fungus that can be found withing Fungiterrises around the world, or in warm, humid, dark environments. It can coat objects with itself within 12 seconds to a 5ft radius, but they can spread into larger patches. In a unsatisfactory environment it lasts for 2 minutes, however in an ideal environment, it can stay indefinitely or untill all decomposing metter has been consumed.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The shallow fungi starts to decompose the excrement, however due to them being enveloped in glass, they can't spread to the outside, and their spores can't leave too.
This means that once the glass shatters, a wave of new fungi will quickly appear on the ground, making that area quite slippery and difficult to transverse.

Manufacturing process

1. Add the excrement into the vile/ball of glass, this will create a good environment for the fungus.
2. Add the fungus into the jar.
3. Quickly seal the vile/ball of glass by melting the glass (This is a crucial step, as if you take too long they could overgrow the vile)

Significance

The bomb is commonly used around Massif as simple form of seize protection, however it's most notable use was during the first apparitions due to the anomalies. A human peasant was able to protect it's small settlement close to the Kingdom of Lamir. He cleverly used the fungus and the environment to make slippery patches that made the heavy Ogres stumble crushing some of the smaller invaders. With this he was able to buy enough time for the incoming reinforcements to arrive and help them end the war.
