Maiden's Bloody Tears

Maiden's Bloody Tears Lithotoxin is a red neurotoxin extracted from the guts of some necrotic scavanger anomalies (ghouls). It is very deadly and lethal, paralising the victim in less then a minute. It has quite a metalic taste, but it can masked with food that has a strong taste.   The poison must be consumed to deal full damage, 6d10 poison damage, if in contact with bloodstream it only deals 2d6 poison damage.   Ghouls Gibbo Necrotica   Price per dose: 31 Gold. Mechanics & Inner Workings

The poison is a neurotoxin that paralyses the vital organs of the victim and damages the tissue in the stomach, and the tear glands, leading the victim to puke and cry blood as they quickly die.

Manufacturing process

This is for a single dose. (0.80oz)  
  1. Use a syringe to extract 0.53oz of Lithotoxin from the ghouls liver, the liquid must be removed from an organ connected to the liver called the Ortenia Bladder. It is located in the left lobe, directly bellow the porta hepatis.
  2. Extract 0.27oz of the ghouls blood.
  3. Add the lithotoxin to a flask in a low fire.
  4. Slowly add the blood to the lithotoxin as it boils.
  5. Once the brew turn bright red and semi translucent stop the fire and store the poison in a safe place

Significance

The name of the poison is derived from a legend of Pungent Aither. A story of a priest who abused the power given to him to seduce and harass young woman in their settlement. However, one day he went to far, as he bit the bosom of a poor maiden who shivered, cried and yelled for help. A maiden whose corpse was found a few months later hanging from a tree, while her red, bloody tears flowed down her cheek. While the ghoul formed by the aftermath of the misdeeds ate through her stomach. The villagers outraged killed the ghoul and forced their way into the the priests temple, and forced him to eat his own creation, where he died a slow and painful death. Crying bloody tears.

The resources of the poison can be difficult to come by. Another problem is the process of the purification, as it can be quite difficult, making it quite expensive.   The unrefined poison it's still lethal, but its much slower acting and takes a larger quantity.
