While not much stronger then the average human he is stout and somewhat wiry

his shooting hand right, is perpetually blackened by all the misfires that beardsbane caused.
Facial Features
His beard only has a couple of months growth, its less then an inch.. just finally past the itchy stage.
Apparel & Accessories
His boots are made of the soft leather from a lion tanned a dark brown.
He wears the Uniform of a Patrol Leader from Trunau, though it has been modified with a lot of silver decorative trim.. Enough that it now counts as a Nobles Outfit..
Over his right shoulder lies an Emissary's Sash, Embroidered with numerous tiny sapphires, the brilliant blue stands out in stark contrast to the rest of his clothing.
Over his left shoulder lies a haversack crisscrossing over the Sash in place of a bandoleer.
The torchlight glints of the Koldukar Signet ring he wears on his left hand.
Spinning in a slow orbit around his head are a trio of cracked mossy disks almost shaped like lenses, Ioun Stones they are,

Personal history
Varr'os Koldukar was born in Trunau and spent most of life within the confines of the town walls, or out on a cartography expedition into the nearby environs.
At 39 his elder brother and both parrents went mission while escorting some heros to recover something for a kingdom to the west. hes a little fuzzy on the details.. as by dwarf standards he was still a child.. but by the standards of the Human City of Trunau, he was and had been an adult for just shy of three decades.

He is a male dwarf, attracted to females.
Sexuality
Though at this point in his life he has only seen one dwarven female that is not married to another female, or alot older then his half a century. That one is one of his companions, so who knows what the others will think of his romantic interest.. let alone what Ingirhild feels about him. Perhaps one day he will overcome his shyness and speak to her about his interest. For dwarves though it has only been a couple of months and that is a very very short time to know someone.
Education
Varr'os is classically trained in the arts of reading and writing in multiple languages. Though he prefers the numbers and distances on maps. He served for a decade in the Trunau Patrol coping records and updating maps in the cartography studio he commissioned after his parents and brother disappeared.
Employment
After his parents did not return, Varr'os spent all the funds his parents left him to purchase a commission in the Trunau Patrol.
Basically he bought a MW Cartography Studio and donated it to the town. The Elders of Trunau agreed, they issued him a uniform and the token rank of patrol leader within the division the Trunau Cartographers in command of nobody but as he was the sole member of the division.
So Varros started as a patrol leader, in command of just himself and the maps. Really he listened more to Luna's commands as, she claimed under the light of a truth candle to be centuries old and taught him all she knew of the hunt. With her help he was able to balance the ways of a ranger and those of a druid as a hunter.
He spent the dozen years that had passed since his parents and brothers death working with nearly every traveler that came into town, becoming a master cartographer but giving away his maps for free to the Patrol and those the council requested a copy for.
Accomplishments & Achievements
- He ensured that his adopted half-orc brother Grunt survived until adult hood.
- His younger sister is now the age that he was when his parents and brother disappeared, hopefully she will be safe with Grunt to protect her.
- He Purchased a Commission in the Trunau Patrol with the rank of Patrol Leader - Cartography Division.
- He was awarded the title "Defender of Trunau" for actions during the Siege a couple of months back.
- He was awarded the title "Hero of Trunau" for bringing back the head of Grensledek the Giant whos armies laid siege to Trunau a couple of months ago, a Distinction that only a dozen of his new companions bear and none of the patrolmen that teased him for a decade ever earned.
- He Created an Army "The Koldukar Cartographers" for Three purposes.
- First to show the Orc's that the Koldukar Clan is not dead.
- Second to show the patrol that even a Cartographer can amount to something.
- Third to one day retake Koldukar, and in meanwhile acknowledge his Clan's ancient royal lineage.
- Assisted in the discovery, reclamation and reigniting of the Forge of Minderhal, who very well might be another name for Torag father of the dwarves. it seems Both races were actually created at this very forge.
Failures & Embarrassments
He was too young to go with his brother and parents into the wilds with the professor. He thinks that had he and beardbane been there the outcome would have been vastly different.
The first time that he ran into an attractive female dwarf (who was not married to another woman) he went a little crazy. He pulled Beardsbane on Adler one of his trusted companions. Not only did he draw, but pointed at Adler's face, and when Adler refused to return the female Dwarves Axe within the first dozen seconds of her insanity being magical removed. Varr'os actually pulled the trigger. Beard'sbane spoke with a thunderous roar. When the smoke cleared Adler was standing there in shock and disbelief, Varr'os had burned his beard off again with a glorious backfire. How does one make up for that?

Not knowing if his Elder Brother or his parents are dead for 12 years now. Speak with dead never worked, contact other planes did not either..
Intellectual Characteristics
Varr'os is very Meticulous in his planning.
He takes notes on every creature that he has encountered that is hostile and the group needs to do battle with.
He takes detailed notes on his companions skills and abilities, hoping to help shape the ragtag group of survivors that rallyed together to defend trunau and have set forth on this quest of epic proportions beside him.

Morality & Philosophy
He serves Law absolutely, initially not much caring about good or evil just simple the law. Along the way he has seen much suffering and chaos, almost all evil creatures seem to attack him or his companions on sight. Most would think that he followed the teaching of Abadar but no he follows the path laid down by the first elven hunter "Erastil".
He wants to be Light in the darkness of this world. Hoping to make the lands a little bit safer, good-er then before he came.

Pulling a gun on a friend and firing it at their face point blank. He wont ever do that again.

Hygiene
Varr'os prefers to wash himself every other day using water created magically from one of his divine companions. Failing that he will strip down and go bathe in the nearest river or lake with Luna. He doesnt known how to swim so makes sure to cast waterbreathing beforehand.
His morning ritual involves mending every piece of his clothing and item he bears so that even though its over a decade old, it still looks and works like brand new, but broken in.
