Ignis

Ignis is the subterranean capital of the fire elves of Inanna. It is located in the magma chambers beneath western Cyrtonyx. The city is the center of industry on Inanna. It has a large spaceport in its upper levels, accessible by flying down a colossal tunnel. There is one tunnel for inbound vessels and one for outbound traffic. There are open lava chambers and rivers of magma throughout the city. As a result, most visitors require heat shielding and oxygen masks to survive the heat and vapors. The area around the spaceport is sufficiently removed from the magma for travelers to breathe safely.
