History
Sparrow caught Midnight trying to pickpocket him, and gave her a choice: he could teach her how to steal properly, or he could turn her over to the guards. Over the years, he taught her everything she knows about being a rogue. It wasn't until she was kidnapped that he realized how important she is to him- he did everything in his power to find her, and when he did find her, he took care of her with her family to rehabilitate her. He unfortunately became over-protective and possessive, which caused issues between them. They official became a couple when she was 19, but it was off and on for quite some time. The final straw was because he lied and told her that he poisoned her, taking the blame because he was confused and also under the influence of the poison, just to a lesser extent than she was.
