Nine of the fourteen gods become displeased with The Elathian Dynasty, and challenge the Pentad Deities for right to rule.

Because records of this time are few and far between, and the gods themselves rarely speak of it, many details are missing from the story. However, it is understood that nine gods, now referred to as The Fallen, rose up against the Pentad Deities in an attempt to wrest the rule from their hands. War broke out and eventually spread to the land of mortals. As people took sides the Elathain Dynasty began to crumble and by the time of the thousand year war it was nearly in complete disarray.   However The Fallen were eventually defeated and subsequently banished from the realm of the divines. Their worship was outlawed and their followers slowly diminished or went into hiding.
