Tal'miron

The realm of Tal’miron is made up of 4 nations. Blackmoor, Wildrun, Ogralon, and Aludel. The relations between Aludel, Blackmoor and Limescar have remained stable for the last two hundred years. But Orgralon and Aludel have been in turmoil over land for as long as can be remembered.   Aludel is the homeland of humans. Lead by Cretion, the steward holding the throne until a true King can be found, they are slowly losing hold of their lands as the Orcs push east.   Ogralon was claimed by Orcs years ago. To the memory of the Empire, there have never not been Orcs in Ogralon, and at this point not even the oldest elves can refute that claim. While the majority of the population is indeed Orc, there are many other monstrous races that are unable to find a home elsewhere. Bugbears, hobgoblins, gnolls, ogres and others all call Ogralon home.   Wildrun is the realm of the elves. It borders the south of Aludel with a dense forest. Within it are the hidden elven cities that few humans have ever seen.   The Frozen Crown is a ring of mountains north of Aludel that is home to the dwarves. While a few settlements exist on the mountains themselves, most of their civilization lies in magnificent caverns carved deep below the mountains. The Mountain Dwarves call this Atheria and make it their home while the Hill Dwarves live in their own lands at the foothills of the mountains   Blackmoor is a land very similar to Aludel, though much warmer. It borders the edge of Wildrun in the hilly area outside the forest. Blackmoor is populated by halflings in the majority. It is ruled by a King, who presides over a council of Barons.   The Great Azure is an unmapped series of islands to the east of Tal’miron. The waters around the islands are incredibly dangerous and only the bravest, or most foolish, of pirates sail the waters to escape the law.
