Vanishing of the Sunem Sultanate

Disaster / Destruction

4000BBA
3700BBA

Much history of the Sunem Sultanate has been lost to time. However from the translations of the few texts and writings that remain historians believe that the Sultanate pulled itself together over the course of thousands of years. Wandering tribes banding together for safety and security before mysteriously vanishing some time between 4000 BBA and 3700 BBA. It is the first great empire of humanity.

Sultan Haddun the Magnificent saw the demise of his civilization in a dream sent to him by the god Imton (now dead). In an attempt to stop this from happening he summoned the most powerful magic users to his side and they began working on a solution. Eventually they discovered a scroll that, even at that time, was ancient. On it was a spell that promised to ‘cleanse the land and make it whole again.’ Seeing no other way Haddun gave the order and the spell was cast. Within seconds the land was ripped apart, splitting it self in two and creating a new ocean. The Sunem Sultanate was lost, with only fragments of its existence remaining.
