Arrival of the Elathian Dynasty

Population Migration / Travel

3200BBA

The first mention of the Elathian Dynasty is on a document dated between 3200 BBA and 3000 BBA. Originally from the north, these humans sailed to what is now Aludel, and the lands past it. They were incredible craftsman and inventors and quickly prospered in these new lands they claimed for themselves.

The Elathian Family had ruled for hundreds of years. It was a pure line, and marriage stayed within the family, though mostly between cousins and rarely between siblings. Most historians assume the Calamity caused them to flee their homeland and settle new shores.   The Elves who had previously called this land home were not impressed with the newcomers. Sylvan magic had protected the elves during the Calamity of Haddun. Though the land around them was being destroyed the elves had escaped back into the Feywild to wait out the chaos. When it had ended, they returned to find their forests and lands in ruins. Over hundreds of years they carefully wove their magic back into the land, healing it. During this time, the Eladrin came over from the Feywild to help and many decided to stay.   The arrival of the humans from the north disrupted this magic leaving deep scars in the earth north of what would later be called Wildrun. The elves spent many years trying to convince the humans to leave but soon it was obvious they weren’t planning on going anywhere.
