The Court Of Indicolites

Introduction

The North Eastern court is the Court Of Indicolites. It is a set of large islands, each crowned with their own names. Water magic and storm control thrives throughout the lands, even basic fishermen are able to control the sea in their favour, which makes their large fishing trade even more fruitful. All of the other courts source their fish directly from the Court Of Indicolites. The incumbent Empress bought her way into power, through many efficient trades and her way with people. Everyone in the Court Of Indicolites sings Empress Arlynn's praises, nobody has a bad word to say about her. Word in the other Courts is she is an ensorcellating temptress, and that the whole Court is under her spell, wrapped around her finger. Spy organisations from other courts wish to infiltrate the court and take down her incestuous organisation, but all that have attempted, have suddenly lost contact and not met any rendezvous after the first few weeks.

Cities

Warner

Warner is the capital of The Court Of Indicolites, closest to the Court Of Rubies. It has sprawled all over the island of Warner, mainly so that it can provide ports to the rest of the cities in the court. There is massive trade within the city of Warner, everything from heated water-forges through to fish, and then trade suppliers from the other courts. The majority of the businesses in this area feed in to Empress Arlynn's business, and then are paid an appropriate share based on their income to the business.

Usa Bib

Usa Bib is the most north eastern city in the Court. It has very good trade routes with Oto Ongo and Karikos, and also has a direct route into a Warner port. Smaller business thrive on trading with Karikos and Oto Ongo, whereas the bigger businesses feed into Empress Arlynns empire. The majority of trade on Usa Bib is either to do with fishing, or the leathers that come from the local fauna. They are strong leathers that are great for carrying lots of fish, making armour out of them, and much more.

Karikos

Karikos is located at the pinnacle of the Court. It is mostly an ancient forest island, with the City of Karikos at the eastern most point. The main trade to the rest of the court is the wood that is grown on the land. It is stronger than any other wood in the court, and most argue within the 4 courts put together. This is great for boats especially, and Empress Arlynn demands quite a lot of Karikos, and there is some political strain forming, as the trees must be tended to for 100 years before they are ready to be cut down, in order to get the best results from the wood.

Zilab

Zilab is the north western island. Nothing is really notable about Zilab, however it is a large fishing island with lots of opportunity for fishing trade.

Minas

Minas is the south western island. Again, much like it's sister island Zilab, not much happens on there, but there is lots of opportunity for fishing trade.

Oto Ongo

Oto Ongo is the most south eastern island of the Court. It is very hard to inhabit, with most of it being covered in Swamp, however, in the north-eastern corner there is a city of people. If you live on Oto Ongo, either you are a fisherman, or, you venture in to the forest to gather rare fungi / flowers, or get the hide of the swamp creatures.

Inhabitants - Player Character Races

Humans

Humans are a prominent race in the Court Of Indicolites. They are great fisherman and also good businessmen.

Triton

Tritons are the number 1 race in the Court Of Indicolites. Incredible fishing skills, great sea-faring abilities, and naturally strong. The majority of Triton run businesses are under Empress Arlynn.

Tortle

The Tortle are a people who inhabit the smaller, less populated islands. The elders raise the young ones here while the adults are on their travels across the rest of the courts. They run small business selling trinkets, but the majority of their economy is based on their wisdom books that they sell to fisherman and to traders who wish to sell them across the lands.

Locathah

The Locathah share the smaller less populated islands with the Tortle for the most part, however they also have a large presence on Oto Ongo, as they enjoy hunting fungi and tending to the animals on the island.

Water Genasi

In the depths of the forest on Oto Ongo, hides away a tribe of Water Genasi. The Genasi have been shamed away from the majority of society in the Court Of Indicolites as they are seen as demons, those who were born as abominations from ancient history, and have only survived by hiding away from the rest of society.
