Stormbreach

Stormbreach is the capital of Oplus. Stormbreach is located where the south eastern shore meets the Lashkra Sea.

There are five districts that make up the city. The nobles district, the merchants district, the residential district, the slums, and the wharf. The largest district is the wharf and docks, it spans almost twice the city's length and contains the naval fleet, a trading section, a section for residents and fishing vessels, and an import and customs section to the south for all outsiders.

The second largest is the merchant's district and is located in the center of the city. The town square is located inside the merchant's district and is built in tiers, almost like giant stairs. The higher up the more expensive and the lower the lower the quality of goods. It is oriented in a way that these 'stairs' or as the locals refer to the market as 'The Steps' lead up to the noble's district and down to the residential. The center level leads east to the wharf and west to the rest of the merchant's district.

The noble's district is where the ruling class and the most wealthy live. It also contains the offices of the council as well as the Master of Ships, Oplus.

The residential district is spread out and contains mostly the commoners' homes and small businesses such as inns and smiths.

The slums have the largest concentration on the south western corner a bit north of the southern docks. A kind of shanty town built along the outside of the entrance that is closed and guarded in the evenings. The slums district also includes small pockets of isolated peasants just trying to survive among other parts of the city. The slums is home to all manner of people from innocents just trying to survive, to thieves and brigands, even the down trodden noble who lost everything in some power struggle or feud.
