The Holy Nathic Empire
Public Agenda
The purpose of the Empire is to bring peace to the uncivilized lands around the Nath Plains. The people there were ungodly savages and now that they have been brought to see the light of our grace, they have joined us.
We bring order to chaos, light to the dark, and civilization to the barbarians.
Demography and Population
The population of the Empire is almost entirely Vo-ren. Very few other species live here, given that they are heavily discriminated against and that there are other, more accepting people in adjacent lands.
Military
The Empire itself has no true military, but they are protected by Enlightened soldiers who serve the Church of the Seven Titans.
Religion
The citizens of the Empire are only allowed to follow the Church of the Seven Titans, though in the empire they have a variant where Nath is known as the eight Titan. Anyone who doesn't must either convert or be banished from the empire.
Foreign Relations
The Empire has repeatedly been excluded from trade deals. The Great Road, the most common route for traders, was intentionally built around their borders to exclude them from the trade.
Education
There is a 5 year public education system, though it can continue for an additional 13 years if they want to become an official priest of one of the Titans, this starts at age 5. The first five years, the lower level education, teaches the children about the history of the Empire and also about the evils of the outside world. At the end of the 13 years of higher education, you must make a pilgrimage to visit your Titan and receive their permission to be one of their priests.
