China escalates global tensions, invades Japan.

Two months after China successfully invaded Taiwan, they break a month long ceasefire between themselves and America by invading American ally Japan. Using sudden and brutal force, China managed to take Japan by surprise and force a surrender by the Prime Minister and take the Imperial family hostage. Attempts at peace are ended with this act of aggression.
