Greogry Ost XVII dies.
It is suggested to Gregory the Marrying the new queen might fully secure an alliance between Ostbank and the rest of Calebwyn if handled correctly.
Without the guidance of his father Desaer struggles to keep a hold over his men.
Domir arrives in the city and sets up an audience with Gregory XVIII.
Gregory decides to quarantine those affected by it in their homes.
Domir Velen Ost claims he's the son of Gregory XVII. Gregory XVIII dismisses his claims until further investigation. In the meantime he offers a room to Domir as a gesture of good faith.
In Sight of this Gregory Calls for the hire of several physicians to try and cure it.
In light of this Gregory offer's Domir a position of power without giving him the throne. Domir refuses on the grounds that the the throne should be his by right.
Domir begins his rebellion in true and usurps the throne from Gregory XVIII.
After a long fight Domir kills Gregory. A funeral is not held.
Desaer asks to resign his post and is refused. He must protect his brothers killer.
After the fast spreading plague is brought to his attention Domir closes off the lower third of the city to stop it from spreading.
Domir is told of the plans to marry Queen Anna to secure an alliance and goes in Gregory's stead.
Domir, believing Ann.a already knew, slips up and lets her know what their plan is. Queen Anna is appalled by Domirs behavior and threatens to call off their alliance.
After their disastrous meeting Queen Anna cancels Domirs request.
After seeing her brothers failed attempts to reign Pamea asks her younger brother for help ousting Domir before he can do more harm.
Fearing civil war amongst his soldiers Desaer offers his future assistance but cannot help right away. Pamea will need to do this stealthily if she wants to succeed.
After losing her control over her son Nadia falls into drunken despair. She tells Pamea that the investigation was rigged and that Domir ins't the bastard son of Gregory XVII.
Uses her newfound information Pamea gains funding and queit support from several nobles, including Desaer, and stets her plans into motion.
People begin to gather outside the castle walls in protest.
With the riots just outside the castle doors Pamea turns "Domirs" men against him with the help of Desaer.
