Order of the Coming Apocalypse, Alnea

• The Order of the Coming Apocalypse was a prominent and welcoming religion created immediately after humans arrived in Alnea, with about 10% of Alneans practicing the original and the decedents of the religion in the year 1999.
• The OCA preaches forgiveness and begs for the mercy of the old gods during the fabled and foretold Apocalypse that is meant to wipe out Alnea forever.
• There are three head priests that all have equal power, yet one must always step up to deliver new orders and verdicts. The three always seem to bicker on who gets to deliver what, but it has never caused any major issues within the Order.
• Under them, many priests travel to the over 1,500 official church locations around the continent, never staying too long at any particular one.
• The Order of the Coming Apocalypse is the official religion of one nation, Piala, who wholeheartedly believes that the Apocalypse will happen in the year 2000.

Official v Unofficial churches

• The only difference between official and unofficial churches is that the official ones have been blessed by one of the three main priests and that a traveling priest can deliver sermons within them.
• The unofficial churches number in the tens of thousands, normally found within small towns that don't leave a mark on the map, or family churches that lie within neighborhoods.
• Unofficial churches are not a problem to the OCA, as they believe they can do anything on Alnea, as long as they beg for the old gods’ forgiveness for their ancestors’ errors.

OCA after the year 2000

• The OCA disbanded in the year 2003 during the Apocalyptic nightmare, citing that they are no longer needed and that the old gods did not listen to their prayers, too few people prayed to them with sincerity. They also claimed that the gods had no reason or desire to listen to their abandoned creation.
