Order of the Oak

Qualifications

An initiate must compete and perform well in the yearly competitions during the Brave Moon celebrations. The events selected change every year but test a candidates speed, intelligence, and commitment to their fellows.

Requirements

Before joining the Order of the Oak an applicant must have obtained a position in the Maple Order. The initiates also have to be members of the Forest Tribe.

Appointment

The ceremony is a somber even held at the base of the tallest tree in the forest. All available members of the order come together to watch the head of the order and the new initiate recite the Oaken Oath. Once the oath has been sworn the group preforms a ceremonial patrol with the innate leading the procession.

Duties

The order escorts the court members when they visit the other tribes. They also make up part of the official guard when the The Fairy Court meets.

Benefits

Those in the order are highly respected by the other members of the Forest Tribe and are often invited to events outside their normal circles.

History

The latest skirmish the order was involved with was the rescue of Princess Fern form the dark fairys living in the old watermill. The knights had to battle the fairy while an extraction team snicked in and secured the Princess.
