Rantaro Amami

Personality

Rantaro Amami is a relaxed and easy going person- save for his knack of appearing enigmatic to those he finds himself unable to open up to despite seemingly wanting to. He can oftentimes come off as untrustworthy or suspicious for that reason, and will try to confront this assumption by telling others he's a good guy. Unfortunately, that tends to make him even more suspicious even though he legitimately means well.
He has a knack for being the "big brother" type in groups, which he's developed from his history being the older brother to twelve younger step-sisters. Although he is very level-headed, he can still become annoyed or angry if he needs to put his foot down. Several of those instances tend to be claims of his appearance resembling a playboy, even though he says he's completely uninterested in romance altogether.
Although Rantaro wants to get close to others he usually finds this a difficult endeavor, as he seems to believe anyone he gets close to might disappear like his sisters did. Due to their disappearance, he struggles from symptoms of depression and greif which dictate his habits to try avoid attachments to anything.

Traits

Rantaro is a free-spirited individual that finds value in his maturity and will become embarrassed if he were to partake in something considered childish. He doesn't tolerate people his age behaving immaturely, but will not stop them since he is a live-and-let-live sort of person.
Although Rantaro has been working very hard to find his missing sisters, he has the belief deep down that they are deceased and he will never find them. Even so he continues to search for them- and his unbreakable will has given him an edge of stubborn determination that he puts forward towards anything that requires more patience than a normal person could contest.
