Muamman's Tempest

Muamman's Tempest was an extreme storm event that spawned hundreds of tornados along the Dragon Coast over a four-day period. It is named for Muamman Duathal , the dwarven god of lightning. While storms were common in the Dragon Coast, Muamman's Tempest was the most intense in living memory. Almost all wooden structures aboveground were destroyed either by the extreme winds or catching fire from one of uncountable lightning flashes. Survivors said the thunder was as consistent as the rhythm of a hammer on an anvil. The gnome and dwarf clans in the Storm Horns and the Giant's Run Mountains opened their caverns as places of refuge, even for those who might normally not be welcomed.
