Giant's Run Mountains

The Giant's Run Mountains are a range of mountains at the southern edge of the Dragon Coast. Spiral staircases on which each step is at least four feet high and the palaces scaled for fifty-foot tall people, most locals correctly presume the Giant's Run Mountains to have once been the location of a giant kingdom. Like most mountain ranges, goblins and ogres make their home there. At least one mine in the mountains was abandoned when tunnels breached the Underdark, releasing drow and other dark creatures.

Despite this, a number of hill dwarves including the Goldthorns , have strongholds in the mountains.
