Romanos II

Son of Emperor Constantine VII and Helena Lekapene Is fascinated by Syres and is drawn to his magical aura. Syres treats him kindly, becoming protective of him as an innocent and ends up teaching the young Romanos II how to fight properly. He also teaches him about Muslim learning and about what his father was like when he was younger. They become friends and Syres is sad to leave him in the end.
