Anatomy

Sea slugs that have evolved to survive on land. They are descended from sea slugs which gained fins that they used to swim, and over time evolved to move onto land. After generations of adaptation, they have now grown wings that they use to fly over the ocean. The jorunna for the uninitiated, is a family sea slug with a fuzzy-looking lightly colored body, and two antennae-like fins at the front of their bodies, resembling rabbit ears, and is the family the Aroqua belongs to. They are typically light blue in color, with white antennae, tipped red. They have two large wings on the sides of their bodies, towards the front, with the same color scheme, and two in the back, smaller and purely white. They glide through the air, and through clouds. In Starside, there are species of plankton that exist in the air, living inside the moisture of clouds, being incredibly light, and the aroqua is one of their predators. They are incredibly poisonous, as the bright colors warn, which is their only defense against larger aerial predators.
