The Shadow of Greatness Campaign

Following the re-emergence of the Sith Empire, the Sacking of Coruscant, and the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant, which ended the Great Galactic War, the known galaxy entered into a Cold War period.   While no side was willing to declare open hostilities between each other for fear of throwing the galaxy into another massive war, they both acted against each other in their own way.   A galaxy in turmoil is prime for the adventurous pickings of a group of riff raff, destined for greatness.

    Exposition

1300 years ago, the Republic ordered the extermination of the Sith race. While the majority of them were killed, their home all but destroyed, a handful escaped the massacre, and fled into unknown space. For 1300 hundred years, they prepared, building towards one singular purpose - the utter destruction of the Republic.   And in the year 3681 BBY, the Sith Empire returned with a fiery vengeance, igniting a conflict that would be known as the Great Galactic War. The war would roar on for 28 years, culminating with Sack of Coruscant, and the Alderaan Peace Treaty.   The Sith Empire has since retreated into their own space, brooding and building for the next war that everyone knows is coming. The Republic is in shambles, their government fractured, their leaders dead, and their guardians, the Jedi, very nearly broken. But life must continue, and so it does for the citizens of the Republic.
