This system, is an Imperial system through and through, with a Human population which is almost fanatical in its support for Emperor Palpatine’s New Order. The governor of this system, Mar Pavan, a holdover from the previous Moff’s administration, has worked tirelessly to improve the lot of his citizens. He lobbied successfully to get the factories for the new Sienar TIE bomber and shuttles placed upon his world. With the award of the contract, he even brought in construction droids like those used on Coruscant to rebuild the sprawling industrial sectors of his world, ensuring that greenspaces were added for the comfort and health of his planet. As a result of this, his citizens are amongst the most productive in the sector, which makes Moff Hax quite happy with this governor. The production lines of Dalai never fall behind on their production quotas.
This is another system that receives the wholehearted support of the Imperial Navy and Customs service. The Imperial Navy has two six-ship squadrons of IPV-1 patrol vessels stationed here, and also homeports a six-ship squadron of IPV-H hyperspace patrol vessels of the Western Kanzi Sector Patrol here as well. A Cardan-2 space station provides the base of operations for the Navy in this system. Also based on the station is the local branch of the Imperial Customs Service. As one of the westernmost major systems, the customs service maintains two six-ship squadrons of Imperial Customs Corvettes out of this station, though they are often out patrolling the ever-expanding frontier to the west. As a result, they also maintain two six-ship squadrons of Corellian Mynock Assault boats for local inspections. On the ground, Governor Pavan, has five fully equipped garrison bases.
