Both these races are advanced space faring peoples who should have already designed hyperdrive technology and joined the greater Galactic community. However, this has not happened because the two races have been at war for millennia. The warlike Seljuk people are religious fanatics who believe theirs is the most superior race in the Galaxy, and that all other people should serve them as slaves. The generally peaceful Noro have been fighting in defense of their people ever since contact with the Seljuk was established. Only the fact that they are a universally force sensitive race, and their interior position, which favors the defense has allowed them to survive this long. The Noro have long known they were slowly losing the war of attrition and had been making plans to leave their system. They have recently developed a crude hyperdrive and have begun constructing massive, 5,730-meter long, cryo-stasis equipped evacuation arks designed to carry their people beyond their home world in search of a new home. Each ark is designed to carry up to 500,000 Noro, copies of their entire technical database, three complete wings of snubfighters for defense and a crew of five-thousand. They are battleship/carriers in their own right, but can also each externally dock a typical Noro fleet formation made up of one command carrier, three escort carriers, two Orthrus-class Destroyers and three Norisan-class heavy frigates, carrying them out of the system.   However, both the Noro and the Seljuk have recently become aware of civilizations beyond their home system. An independent scout named Aital Halcorr made contact with both civilizations, though she only narrowly escaped capture by the Seljuk. She made peaceful contact with the Noro, and only recently departed to report her find to the Imperial Authorities in the Tohrohsail system.   The system is quite heavily defended between the fleets of both the Seljuk and the Noro, however, both races lag behind the greater galaxy in weapons technology, though each has some surprising new adaptations on older weapons technology. The issue is that they are only one system, and just the Kanzi Sector alone outweighs them significantly. Additionally, the Seljuk use anti-matter to power their ships, and they are horribly vulnerable to ion weaponry. The Seljuk prefer large main combatant ships, with minimal fighter forces. The Noro rely heavily on snubfighters, with main combatants armed with massive rail guns acting as finishing strikes designed to shatter the Seljuk ships and release their own anti-matter against them. However, despite this, a system with such obvious industrial might, extensive shipbuilding expertise and numerous production facilities will surely be too much for Moff Hax to pass up. As soon as the Imperial Authorities hear of this system a fleet will likely be assembled for the purpose of immediate conquest.   Currently the Noro hold everything inside the asteroid belt, which for centuries they also controlled. The Seljuk, however, have managed to push the Noro out of the belt, denying them its resources, and, are currently pushing the Noro hard around Murvoma.
