Naga

The naga are half-human, half-snake, all charm. They are masters of deception and manipulation, and always try to play every side for their own benefit. They may be the most supremacist race in the system, surpassing even the Humans due to their beliefs being shared by their elderon, Mulus. However, they are far more discreet about it, preferring to control the others through sweet words and false promises.

Anatomy

The naga have a human torso, a serpent's tail, claw-like fingernails, green skin, lizard-like eyes, and fangs in their mouths.

Genetics and Reproduction

Naga gestation periods tend to last about 3 months, at the end of which they lay their eggs, often 20 at a time, and let the local nursery deal with the rest.

Growth Rate & Stages

Naga tend to live for 120 years, reaching maturity at around age 17. They reach old age around age 90.

Civilization and Culture

Naming Traditions

Naga don't bother with last names, as they are all part of the family of Mulus. They name their children whatever Mulus tells them to.

Beauty Ideals

Naga believe in maintaining the beauty standards of as many races as possible. While some races value strength over beauty, the naga have found that a well-kept chest can attract almost any member of the opposite sex. The naga themselves have very broad standards of beauty, generally comparable to humans.

Gender Ideals

The naga are predominately female, and thus, they believe that the woman should support the family, be proficient in magic, and defend the family, while the males should do all the grunt work. There are special nurseries for naga children, where one delegate raises them as in a very caring orphanage.

Courtship Ideals

Naga tend to forgo the whole "courting" process in favor of a more forward approach: they grab their potential partner, demand they be their girlfriend/boyfriend for a time, usually a week or so, then they decide if they want to marry them. If they don't they dump them and move on to the next one.

Relationship Ideals

Naga believe that the females should make most of the decisions, and the males should just obey.

Average Technological Level

Naga have access to space travel, and have invented a space suit that they can wear without costing them mobility.

Common Dress Code

Female Naga wear just enough covering to be decent, but nothing more. Male naga do not wear shirts.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

The naga are generally considered to be sneaky, but generally alright by most races. While the naga have been keen to keep this facade up, they dream of the day they can subjugate all the races, either by turning them into naga, or death.
