Drajgal

Drajgal are large reptiles that can fly. Although legends have mistaken them for dragons, they are not.

Similar in looks to bats, drajgal have broad, leathery wings that lift their scaled bodies into the air. The creature is cold blooded and requires hours gliding above the clouds to avoid freezing to death out of the sun, or they will warm themselves on the geothermally heated volcanic rocks.
