Wences

Wences is a wildspace system that is the regional source of the Neogi menace.

Wences Loss

At the heart of the system, rather than a star, there is a black hole called Wences Loss. The remaining orbits in the system are all decaying slowly, and they will eventually be swallowed by the Wences Loss.

The system has two points of interest.

Wences

Wences is an earth-sized planet that has been entirely conquered by the Neogi.

Wences was a more typical planet with a mix of human and other species inhabiting a mix of climates. Since the death of the planet's sun (now the black hole called Wences Loss), the Neogi were able to exploit the suffering of the struggling humanoid populations, kill most and enslave the rest. Now the planet is a dark warren of caves and web nests where slaves build everything, including the parts needed to construct new Nightspider jammers to raid nearby wildspaces for resources.

Mannenaria

Mannenaria is a water world where a few aquatic nations squabble amongst each other, unaware of the existence of spelljammers. The planet is cold, dark, and stormy on the surface of the water, making it difficult for spelljammers that are able to land on water to do so comfortably.
