Neogi

In classic Spelljammer the Neogi are slavers and raiders, not a genocidal horde. In Spellblazers, it is not clear at the start of the campaign who the mastermind of the Neogi swarm is, but they have allies and thralls that will help add variety and diversity to the opposition.

 

In the Battleship Yamato series, the bad guys are the Garmillan people, a much more human-looking race than the Neogi, and are led by Supreme Leader Abelt Desler.  For ths campaign the leader of the Neogi empire is the ancient phase dragon Desslerix.
