Halorus: To the Moon and Back

Our Universe

Our universe is vast; its size is almost unbelievable. Many of us come from different worlds, so we already know there is a Megaverse.
We have millions of stars, dozens of planets, and so much life all around us. Halorus itself can be an unexplored hellscape.

Planets in our Universe

Halorus: Halorus is our planet; we will not dive into the specifics of our planet here.   Our Moons: Halorus has two moons. One moon is purple and the other changes color depending on where you are in the world. These moons are called Serenity and Dysnomia.   The Sun: We only have one sun, and it’s amazing it still works after being swallowed by the Black Mist.   The planets beyond: The planets beyond have gone unstudied. Halorus is just getting back into studying the stars, so research for these planets is slim.

Celestial Objects

We are surrounded by energy, space, matter, and magic. Among other things, when you look into the sky, you can see things like stars, other planets, and raw magic. You won’t see the Black Mist.

Raw Magic

Raw magic can be viewed when the sun sets, as long as you’re not in the city. Raw magic gathers in space because no one lives up there; no one is using that magic.   Raw magic is dangerous but not nearly as dangerous as raw majick.

Other Planets

You will see other planets when you look into the clear night sky. Some nations have special scopes that will let you get a closer look.   Without the scope, you can see three planets. We call these; Xano I, Xano II, Cavo I. It is unknown if these planets have any life on them.

Space and Stars

Stars can be seen all over the planet. Constellations litter the sky; some are listed below.
  • Lio: The lion constellation that can be seen every seven days. People believe this lion brings strength and wisdom.
  • The Lady in the Clouds: This constellation looks like a woman holding a bow. People believe she is watching over us.
Every so often you can see star remnants in the sky. Stars are not everlasting, they can and will collapse. Some of them will explode, and some of them seem to vanish without a trace. Vanishing stars are assumed to have been swallowed by a similar force to the Black Mist.

Galaxies

Our universe is vast: Our solar system is a fingernail in comparison to everything that lies beyond. We know this because of the people who have arrived here from more advanced planets.   Galaxies contain stars, gas, dark matter, and magic. It is suspected that each galaxy contains, even more, the possibilities are limitless and thus far have gone unstudied. The beginning and end of this universe Each universe in the Megaverse has a beginning and end. We know this because we have eyewitness accounts of the end portal, some people have seen it on their way inside.   Halorus is different, the beginning and end portals were next to each other before the Black Mist swallowed our universe. We believe it is no longer possible to find these portals.

How do we classify planets?

Planets are spheres, normally. When a planet takes another shape, they are given a different classification. Planets do not produce nuclear fusion; square-shaped “planets” do so, so they do not share the same classification.   Planets are common; they appear throughout the Megaverse. Everyone comes from a different planet; they seem to be drawn to Halorus. Some planets are small, and others are large!   Our planet has a lot of water, and from what we can see, the other planets in our solar system do as well. Our planet is considered large; many landmasses have been explored, but not all of them. Megaverse Starter Guide  What are Multiverses?  What are Multiverses?
