What are Multiverses?
Welcome!
Welcome to the Megaverse! If you are new here, you are going to want to know what is going on. You will want to know what to expect, so let’s get right into it.Connecting Stories
Every Multiverse has a collection of stories inside. This ranges from tabletop games to short stories and more! Each Multiverse can have anywhere from 10 to 500 planets on the inside. Following the stories and lore can get muddy for any reader, and I help with that by using various master posts. Now everything the players do can affect the lore; that’s important because I like them to feel like they impact. In many ways, they do, so each story is not published until I know the outcome can not be changed. Lore can come from all over, so it is important to know what you are looking for. What the multiverse is not
The Multiverse is not and never has been parallel universes. We do have parallel universes, but they go by a different term. We have terms for everything, that is to make it easier for you.The Multiverses
Each multiverse is broken into 100 Prime Planets and other planets in each universe. You have the...
- The Originals: The first 100 Prime Planets, and all the extras that go with it. These are the original universes.
- The PlaneScapes: These are the next 200+ Prime Planets.
- Lundova Planets
- The New Deca Auras
- The EitherScapes
- The NeitherScapes
- The EndScapes
Let’s talk Planets
Prime Planets
Each “main” planet is called a Prime Planet. We call them Prime Planets because of the life that inhabits them. This is not to say other planets can not have life. If the planet orbits the sun, has a hydrostatic equilibrium (that means it is nearly round in shape), and has cleared the neighborhood around its orbit. Square planets or any other shape are not Prime Planets. Artificial planets can never be Prime Planets.Ice Giants
These are massive planets with a solid surface of ice. These planets are icy; organisms from other planets will have a hard time living here. These planets tend to have high winds and little to no life. Creatures that inhabit this planet are tough, rigid, and unforgiving. Adaptation is key to living on these planets.Dwarf Planets
They're smaller in mass but still hold qualifications that make them a planet. Most of these planets exist in a belt, and most do not clear the neighborhood around their orbit. Other things about these planets might change as well.Other Classification
Other classification might arise and when it does it will show up in this category.Travel
Travel around the Multiverse is mostly done by World-Jumping portals andMultiverse Space Travel .Finding New Life
As you travel you might encounter new life. You are not simply allowed to interact with this new life, you will have to follow the guidelines of doing so. @howRemove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
