Buso Yagtro (a.k.a. The Man who Stole a Moon)

Buso Yagtro was a Zamorian man living on the Zamorian Empire-owned planet of Ipsy 2 with his beloved wife and daughter. They were very happy there, until both women were stricken with a previously-unknown illness. Buso miraculously was spared of the disease, but was forced to watch as the two people he loved the most succumbed to the disease and died.
Buso tried to move on, but never could. He felt intense scorn and resentment; it was not towards any group, doctor, or deity, but instead to the universe itself. He decided that if the universe would take such a significant part of his life from him, that he would act in kind and take something significant away from the universe.
Buso created an impressive spaceship, one with engines like no other. He flew to the planet Gyri's moon Polo, which was a life-bearing body. Once there, he used the resources of the planet and the ship that he himself had brought to create an engine capable of moving the moon out of orbit, which was exactly what he did. He completely isolated himself from any sapient life form and stole an entire moon, never letting it get close enough to another planet to fall into a proper orbit again. While he knew he could never replace his wife and daughter, he still longed for company that he could find agreeable, so he made a colony of self-sustaining robots, which now keep him company in his old age.
