Evigheden

Evigheden of the Lowlands, more often referred to by his title, Chieftain Evigheden, or even yet, Evigheden the Low, was an inhabitant of the continent of Lameeria and a member of the Stone Ear tribe, one of the several Tribes of Asheeld fighting for supremacy in the continent since time immemorial. Evigheden was born to the previous chieftain of the Stone Ear tribe, Naamar, and an unnamed mother, probably one of Naamar's many wives, near the Phoenice River in the Lothian Lowlands. As a child, Evigheden had very little time with his father, who had to tend to the tribe and keep everyone from each other's throats.   Life as an asheeld'i was simple and pure. They wandered the land, they hunted for their sustainment and they fought each other on a constant basis. Evigheden grew up into this life style and developed into a more than decent warmonger. Set deep in his heart was the desire to impress his father and become the next chieftain of the tribe. That wasn't in Naamar's plans, however, as he planned to step down from command in favor of his other son and Evigheden's younger brother, Vagan. Upon finding out about it and making his dissatisfaction known, Evigheden was sent away to the limits of the tribe's territory, to keep him away from his brother.   While Evigheden was there, he heard their main branch had suffered a major attack. Although they tried their best to head there immediately to help, what they found upon their arrival was only the ruins of their caravans. The only survivor was Vagan, cowering under cover. From him, they discovered Naamar had died fighting the Rabid Eagles, and had told him to hide in order for him to survive and lead the tribe afterwards. Evigheden publicly killed his brother for his cowardice and assumed the command of the tribe in front of the surviving warriors who had been with him, promising to exact revenge from the responsibles.   The Rabid Eagles were the tribe lead by Braahmor, a powerful chieftain and warmonger who would go on to rebel against the Seentriaese invaders and settlers from the Sogeryah colony, taking it from them in 281 AR during the Asheeld'i Insurgence. That didn't matter to Evigheden, however, as he rounded the territories around the taken colony, raising up his army from the tribes defeated by Braahmor. Before the Seentriaese could send their army to supress the insurgence and reclaim their lands, Evigheden curralled and killed Braahmor's Rabid Eagles during the Siege of Asgrare.   When the Seentriaese did arrive at the scene, they found Evigheden's Stone Ears waiting for them, instead of Braahmor's Rabid Eagles. For the next year, Evigheden engaged the Seentriaese in a serious of guerrilla-like battles, in which they would attack the heavy Seentriaese soldiers and then retreat into their territory. Through this technique, Evigheden made the Sogeryah territory unclaimable by the Seentriaese for the better part of two years. When he was captured and judged in front of the Seentriaese, he mocked their leaders, saying that a man who didn't kill his enemy was no man at all. He lost his head while smiling.
"What? Scared of a little blood on your blade, outlander?"
