Islanders are a race stemming from the Twelve Heart Islands.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Islanders are on average as tall as the average human. They have naturally unremarkable muscularity, which can be greatly enlarged through rigorous training. Roughly half the population is born with pointy ears. They have hair colors ranging from brown and black, with descendants of one tribe having naturally white hair. Their eyes are typically colored shades of blue, green or brown.

Genetics and Reproduction

Islanders can reproduce with humans and elves, as well as elfborn. A pregnancy typically lasts for nine months.

Growth Rate & Stages

Islanders reach puberty between ages ten to seventeen. They typically stop developing around the age of twenty-five. Islanders visibly age throughout their life. At the age of fifty to sixty, their hair often starts to lose its color, becoming white or grey in the process, but it is not untypical for islanders to keep their natural haircolor in old age. At the age of seventy, islanders are considered old and their physical abilities start to drastically deteriorate.

Islanders have a natural affinity for magic, which is not as high as that of Elves or Elfborn, but higher than that of humans.
