The God-Stone

The God-Stone is a massive, intricately carved spherical stone that rests at the heart of the The Great North Wood, surrounded by the settlement of Stonemoot. It is one of the only permanent settlements of the Great North Wood Barbarian tribes. The Stone has many mysterious properties, but displays a definite range of overt magical affects. These include divine energies sufficient to empower barbarian shamans and priests and some kind of ambient life energy which allows for the prodigious growth of both the Great North Wood Pines and the Megafauna and Thunderlizards which roam them.
The Stone is a central cultic item for the Great North Wood Barbarian tribes and their lore claims that it is carved with profound mysteries that can unlock the secrets of the world to a wise and astutue interpreter.
