The Dark

The Dark is a mysterious Dwarven  religious and philosophical principle. They have a vast and intricate demarcation of the many forms of darkness, even identifying them by things like function or emotional/metaphorical character. The more powerful or fearsome forms of Darkness are revered or propitiated by the various Dwarven rites, seeking to earn their favor or avoid their wrath.
Legends tell of a secretive and ancient order of Dwarven Darkness-Priests who channel the powers of these Greater Darknesses.
