Guardian Dragon (Albimonte)

The Guardian Dragon of Albimonte is the latest in a long and unbroken line of guardian dragons born to watch over the people, wildlife and lands of Albimonte. To enact his own local coup and seize control of the nation, George Thunderlord stole the soon to hatch egg of the Guardian Dragon, coercing it into inaction. After the rescue of her egg, the Guardian Dragon was able to join the adventurers in overthrowing Thunderlord and his forces. Since the Guardian has taken a more active role, coordinating directly with the new democratic government of Albimonte and raising her newly hatched child.
While most Red Dragons tend towards evil, the vast crimson dragons of Albimonte are benevolent and protective towards their charges, if somewhat distant from their daily lives. They are voracious eaters and regularly hunt the vast mountainous tracts of forest that line the edge of the island-nation.
