Tenets of Faith

Believe in romance, as true love will win over all. Follow your heart to your true destination. Love none more than yourself except Sune, and lose yourself in love of the Lady Firehair. Perform a loving act each day, and seek to awaken love in others. Respond to love at least once a day. Encourage beauty wherever you find it. Acquire beautiful items of all sorts, and encourage, sponsor, and protect those who create them. Keep your own body as comely as possible and as attractively displayed as situations warrant. Let hairstyle and clothing best suit your personal appearance, striving to stir and delight others who look upon you. Moreover, hide not away, but always seek to present yourself to those around you in a pleasing variety of garbs and activities so as to move them with love and desire. Love those who respond to your appearance, and let warm friendship and admiration flower where love cannot or dares not.

Sunites are typically very lovely in appearance, with an inordinate amount of them sporting luscious red hair (though whether it be a natural color, a supernatural gift from the goddess hersefl, or merely a clever dye-job is a hotly debated topic by the followers of Chauntea). Sunites worship their patron by beautifying the world in any way that they can. Aesthetic beauty is important to a Sunite, but most hold more sacred inner beauty, which comes from a place of joy. Devotees of the Lady Firehair thus seek to do good deeds and improve the lives of their parishioners in many ways.

Granted Divine Powers

Clerics of life or light may be granted special powers of healing by Sune. Though rarer, some worshipers of the Lady are granted command over flame. Good-natured bards are welcomed into the ranks of the Ruby Rose.

General worshipers of Sune are known as Sunites, and it is far from a cloistered rank. Any person can be a Sunite, as the only requirements are to appreciate beauty and to swear your allegiance to the Lady in word and deed.

The Order of the Ruby Rose

The venerated priests of Sune belong to the order. Many are capable of performing at least some modicum of magic, and all are lovely to behold. The Order of the Ruby Rose is based in Golden Harbor, but members travel across Opandii, spreading love and light wherever they go.
