One of the largest nations in Opandii, geographically speaking. Jatha is an exorbitantly wealthy nation, but extremely bad at distributing said wealth. To the west lies the Motionless Expanse, a massive desert that hosts little life around sparse oases. To the east are the shores of the Valeshift Sea and many highly populated and wealthy cities.
Built upon the war, hard work and natural resource abundance of its past, this country is now among the most inefficient countries in its corner of the world. Their trade, hygiene and fuel production are among its current greatest strengths. Unfortunately they lack a lot in food production and education. Jatha is a Plutocratic country where material wealth is EVERYTHING. The current leader is Lady Amina Gal'dolor, Sage of the Golden Sands and the Eminence of the Dawn. Many politically important families of Jathan high society are often vying to sit upon the Dawn Throne, though none have unseated the Gal'Dolors in centuries. Crime is rampant in most cities, since the poor are desperate to gain material status.
The people of Jatha are extravagant. They live sensual lives, and while wealth distribution is really lacking, the average Jathan puts on airs that few can realistically back up. Religion holds very little importance at all in their lives and, if anything, has made them more hedonistic and wealth-obsessed. The people of Jatha claim to be quite spiritual, however, and they have an abundance of religious celebrations dedicated to Waukeen.
