Lina

Avelina Daniels (a.k.a. Doll)

"She calls herself Lina. A shortened version of some other name no doubt. Maybe Elina? Nah, doesn't fit her. To us, she's Lina and that all we need to know. We can keep guessing what she was called before. Doesn't really matter none."

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

She tries to keep herself fit. She often exercises, and she loves running. Well. She used to love running. After her accident, when her right leg was amputated, she hasn't gone running. Not even after she got a better prosthetic.

Body Features

Her skin is pale, almost like porcelain. She used to have a healthier skin tone, but she fell into depression after she lost her leg. Now she has a good prosthetic, so she's able to walk without a limp or pain. Her prosthetic is beautiful. It's white, with a mesh-like structure that resembles lace. And it contains a hidden compartment where she can store a small blade.

Facial Features

Most people would compare her face to a doll. All her features are pretty, yes, but together they make her look a bit unsettling. There is something that makes her look a bit unreal. She has a small, oval-shaped face.   The doll-like effect comes mostly from her eyes, that seem a bit too large for her face, making her look younger than she is, and from her lips. Her lips are lush, and full, which makes her look like she's constantly pursing them or pouting.   Together, her facial features make her seem like an old porcelain doll, with exaggerated features.

Identifying Characteristics

She's most easily recognizable nowadays by her prosthetic. She doesn't try to hide the fact that she's wearing one - she refuses to feel ashamed for it - so as most people know she has it, they can identify her from it.

Physical quirks

She is right-handed, but as after losing her right leg and having to had to use a cane, she has improved using her left hand.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Lina had a fairly usual childhood - her parents worked hard to provide for Lina and her siblings. They took care of Lina, but she always felt partly responsible for her younger siblings. She looked after them while her parents worked, acting like she was their mother. As a result, her younger siblings became very attached to her, which caused some friction between her and her mother, who felt replaced. Her father had always been more distant from them and so didn't feel replaced, but he stood with Lina's mom.   As soon as Lina found a job, she left. She stayed in the city, kept in contact with her younger siblings, but didn't really talk to her parents or her older siblings. She worked long hours, trying to make enough money to stay afloat.
