Curvewall Canyon

Curvewall Canyon. It is aptly named, for the canyon is almost completely made of curved lines. The shape of its length is curved, first to the left, and then later to the right. And it's floor is gently rounded, the walls of it sloping gently into hills, into the lowest ground in the middle.   The walls of it rise high into the air. Much of it used to be underwater, but the dam further in the canyon keeps the water mostly locked. Only a small stream of a river snakes down the bottom of the canyon. Behind the dam, there is a large lake, teeming with life, fishes, waterfowl, all kinds of wildlife.   The canyon itself is filled with forest. There is only one road that travels next to the river, otherwise, the canyon forest has only small footpaths, originally made by animals. The paths weave the uneven hillside of the canyon, going in loops and circles where the animals have worn holes into the mass of woodland flora.

Geography

Curvewall Canyon is a long canyon, with gently sloping walls. A small river runs in the bottom of it, otherwise, it is filled with boreal forest.   It is cut by a dam in deep in the canyon that keeps the canyon from being filled with water. The waters have pooled on the other side of the dam, forming a large lake.

Fauna & Flora

The canyon has a large boreal forest and a river running through it. There are animals that live in boreal forests, the largest of them elks. There are some wolves as well as other predatory animals.   In the summer, there are sweetest tasting blueberries growing in small patches, in the autumn large amount of mushrooms. In the winter, all of the ground is covered in snow, and in the spring, the snow is slow to melt.

Natural Resources

Curvewall Canyon has plenty of wood in its forest, some fishes in the river, as well as prey animals that inhabit the forest. It also has plenty of berries, eatable plants and mushrooms growing in the forest floor.
