A race in Soirea. Humans are one of the most common races in Soirea and the one with the most subraces.

Anatomy
Humans vary greatly between kingdoms and regions, however, personae generally have four limbs, two arms and legs and one head.
Biological Traits
As a side effect of being gifted with enchantments by the gods, humans have a higher level of adaptability than other species, as such the human races also look widely different in terms of facial structure, coloration and body sizes.
Behaviour
Compared to races with longer lifelines like elves or faeries, humans have a relatively short natural lifespan of a century. This causes humans to have a higher sense of urgency and ambition than other races. They are also able to quickly adapt to any environment as well as create complex civilisations in these environments.

Humans are the most common race in Soirea, with many great civilizations being started by personae. They can be found on every single continent in the world.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Humans in Soirea have no special senses or qualities. It is because of the lack of qualities that humans were gifted with abilities called enchantments, which is a natural ability to manipulate the mana in and around them. Each enchantment is completely dependent on the individual and is gifted at birth, it is incredibly rare for a human to be born without an enchantment.

Naming Traditions
Because of the wide variety of languages and dialects of humans, naming traditions vary, though a common structure is a first name followed by a surname, despite exceptions.
Major Organizations
Eadland is the most powerful and influential empire within Soirea. Despite being run by the Carat dynasty, a majority of the nation is made up of chronosian humans and Eadlish history features many prominent humans.
Macheo is the nation with evidence of some of the first humans. The Iroko tribe of Macheo features a prominent human population along with orcs.
Khamaseen features a large population of humans within the kemet region. Despite beastmun traditionally ruling within the region, currently royal family have taken on more human traits due to generations of mixed blood.
Despite Mainumbí being a multi ethnic nation, many of the tribes within it are humans.
The Nebulan archipelago has historically been mainly human tribes due to the fact that for a long time the archipelago was completely isolated from the rest of the world due to the Nebulan fog.

Humans use enchanted scrolls and runic telephones as a method of communication and were one of the first species to begin inventing.

The major languages of the human species are Eadlish, the Irokoid languages, Kemet Khamasht, the Tatan languages and the Komorebic languages.

Despite the variety of cultures, some of the common taboos are infidelity, murder and cannibalism.

Humans are believed to originate somewhere in the southern Machean rainforests before migrating to other continents of the globe via rafts.
