Impending Doom(s) Timer

An impending doom, known to all, should be a Timer for the main Quest... will they find answers and Light before Darkness is unleashed? Like a dam showing signs of collapsing soon... or a sand timer ⏳ natural clock.
In fact, each ethnic group should have their own doomsday timer, depending on the unforlding of the story based on PCs choices, allegiances and sucesses (or failures).

• We learn that Pline longs for Obsius presence of fire river, because deep in his beliefs is darkness.

Jotnarr is growing darker and darker contacting ever closer the Dark Ones from the Depth, but at which price? He is nearly ready to unleash a ritual that could open a door between their world and Porphyrr...

Anarkhs is almost dead, which will mark the release of his final tome, unleashing a murderous Jihad that will ravage Katat-Karka and start a neverending civil war until Pline himself bleeds.


The mission becomes then a race to save the people of Porphyrr from fire, lava, blood and utter darkness... a kind of living hell. Maybe a kind of lava dam, or a level mesures religiously getting higher and higher, echoing the prophecy’s doom to come!
