Mental characteristics
Personal history
The Iilick family line has a mutation in their mind that allows them to lie, unlike other fey. Unfortunately, despite their wealth, this made them untrustworthy in the eyes of most residents of Aogris. Zadock swindled and manipulated other members of his society because they genuinely couldn't conceptualize an elf lying. Unfortunately, the Illick family was wiped out, destroying the genetic mutation in a grand systematic killing. Zadock was spared in a sense because Linh listened to the prayer of another person living in Aogris and wiped away his mental disorder. This had the consequence of wiping away Zadock's existence. By the time Line reconstructed him, Zadock was the only fey left alive that could lie. Naldo became very interested in Zadock and offered him place in his agents. Zadock accepted and became the embodiment of the pathways from Aogris, allowing travel between it and the other planes. Zadock became a prominent religious leader known as the Mag, though technically they are worshiping him. Every couple of years he fakes his death and adopts a new identity as the Mag.
