Session 12 - Ascending the Tower

We manage to gain entry to the tower by having Bull do a dance. On the main floor of the tower we find a few crates full of provisions and supplies that Esmerelda is convinced belong to her mentor. After a few minutes of thinking Bull is able to figure out that the lift to the next floor is voice activated! He hops on it with Esmerelda and ascends to the second floor where a bust begins questioning them about why they are in the tower. After befriending "Buster" we gain some new potential leads about the magics that keep Strahd alive (the Amber Tower near Argynvostholt). His master was supposedly on his way to Amber Tower with his spellbook (which we may want to look for?) when "Buster" last saw him hundreds of years ago. When we finally make it to the top we discover a page from the diary of Esmerelda's master. It tells a sad tale of the masters life leading us to the conclusion that he has been cursed by the Vistani. Through our search Emrys Lailoken discovers some scrolls and a severed Vistani head. While discussing what to do with these new items we hear something downstairs and find that Rictavio is outside on a horse.   After a bunch of back and forth some werewolves trap us in the tower...and
