Session 11 - Meeting with the Abbot

We are introduced to the Abbot along with a being that looks nearly identical to Irena. He offers to heal the ailments of Gorgo and Ryden, so long as the party procures a wedding dress for Visilka, the supposed clone of Irena. She is to be presented to Strahd for marriage in an attempt to stop the tyranny of the devil himself. After a brief Q&A we are taken on a tour of the grounds by Otto, revealing many mongrels residing in cells. Hesitantly, we decide to stay at the church and head up to our room. There are three smaller rooms off of the one we are to sleep in, one that has a blood stained table, one that has a bunch of broken cribs (within which Bull saw the reflection of a nun), and one with a raven sitting on the window sill (which Emrys Lailoken chased around until it flew off). Bull and Emrys Lailoken then go to investigate the other person that is staying at the abbey. 
She turns out to be a Vistana named Esmirelda, a monster hunter that is after the devil and also looking for her mentor. We decide to team up with her by going to the tower her mentor may be in and coming up with a plan to destroy Strahd. We end the session by camping at the foot of the tower, considering the puzzle of the tower door.
